WonderMedia Introduced Reference Plates on the Platform Prizm WM8980

Company WonderMedia, subdivision VIA Technologies, announced a reference design tablet computers that use a "system on a chip" Prizm WM8980.

WM8980 processor combines two processing cores Cortex-A9 processor with a frequency of up to 1.4 GHz and a graphics controller ARM Mali-400. The platform allows you to work with memory DDR3/LPDDR2 SDRAM; officially supports HDMI, LVDS, DVI, as well as high-definition video format 1080p.

Reference plates are 10.1 diagonal display and 7-inch (resolution not specified). The older model, weighing 650 grams, can be equipped with a battery capacity up to 8000 mAh the old version weighs 370 grams, battery capacity - up to 3400 mAh.

The tablet supports up to 2GB of RAM. They can be equipped with flash unit with a capacity of up to 16 GB, camera with 2 - and 8-megapixel sensor, adapter, Wi-Fi, module 3G, port Mini HDMI, slot MicroSD, USB and MicroUSB.

Computers are characterized by a narrow bezel around the screen, the operating system - Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
