Google has updated the app store Google Play. The new design is different from the old images both sizes and the new layout.  The company says will make the consumers easy to find the desired content.

 

Google Re-designed Application Store

The new design of Google Play is available for all smartphones and tablets running Android at least with the version 2.2 Froyo.

                                                                                                                                                                            

At the same time, the store removed 60 thousands of applications. Most of them were deleted by site in the fight against substandard content. In Google Play, unlike the App Store, applications are published immediately, without having to go through the approval process.

"Great Purge" may indicate a strengthening of moderation in Google Play. Especially that "under the knife" were not only malware or pornography, but quite harmless application. At the same time, the intention to move to a system of publication in the manner App Store Google does not have.
