Blackmagic Design Announces A Compact Camcorder Pocket Cinema Camera
Blackmagic Design Company at the conference of the U.S.
National Association of Broadcasters (NAB 2013) in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA)
introduced the camcorder Pocket Cinema Camera, the delivery of which will begin
in July.

The manufacturer calls the invention the world's smallest
camcorder, it is equipped with a Super 16 format sensor (12,48 × 7,02 mm). Its dimensions are 128 × 66 × 38 mm.
Pocket Cinema Camera can record high definition video with a
resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels at 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97 or 30 frames per
second. The files can then be stored on a memory card SD / SDXC / SDHC format
CinemaDNG RAW or Apple ProRes 422 (HQ).
Camcorder is compatible with the standard interchangeable
lens Micro Four Thirds; it is also possible to install other types of lenses
via its adapters. There are 3.5-inch display with a resolution of 800 × 480
pixels, stereo microphone, interface Micro HDMI, mono speaker and port Mini USB
2.0.
